It's kind of sad how this is the first entry that I'll be putting here on DA for 2006...

I graduated from college yesterday. Today I said goodbyes to my close writing friends - which was hard - but it hasn't really hit me yet. I'm sure it will soon though... I'm still in the process of unpacking and stuff - you'd be surprised how much shit you can gather in a year. It's been an experience, I swear. Lots of books to read. Am looking forward to just sitting around reading and writing for fun now.

Am looking for work - I might have a career job lined up for the fall - but that's up in the air. For now, I'm going to be continuing working at the two jobs that I have right now - making some money and saving so that I might be able to move out to my own place.

I turned 22 this past April and now I'm done with college. It's a bit scary right now - transitioning and all - but one thing that is uplifting is that my writing professor really does believe that I'll be in print someday, considering that my writing skill has greatly improved over the four years that she's had to deal with me. It'll be hard not to be in class with her once August rolls around again.

Anyway - just posting to say that I should be around here more often once I'm settled. I still have a few things that need to be completed before I start any of my other projects - but yeah.

Dammit, once I get paid again, I'm going to have to renew my subscription here. I've gotten used to being spoiled with no ads. Ha ha.
